Are Projector Images Better Quality on a Wall or a Screen?

If you’re wanting to get the best possible image quality from your new projector installation, we recommend projecting onto a screen rather than directly onto a wall.

Projector screens are specifically made to provide superior image quality. Their smooth surface prevents image distortion, and they are specially designed to reduce glare and reflect light more efficiently, resulting in a brighter, more defined picture.

In contrast, while it’s possible to project onto walls, they do not reflect light as well, and they are also not as smooth as projector screens. This can affect the clarity of the projection and may also lead to image distortion and blurriness.
